About Euroscience

Governing Board

The Governing Board supervises the association and has extended administrative authority and decision making powers.

General Assembly

The General Assembly shall be the sovereign

body of the association. It approves the association’s accounts and sets strategic guidelines for the two following years.

Being at the forefront of influencing policies in areas that affect the governance of science in Europe; working on a stronger sense of European identity and culture of science through its own independent activities.

Supporting Euroscience is a direct and democratic way to influence the construction of the Europe of Science and Technology, for more integration, mobility and opportunity.

Euroscience Fundation

The promotion of European sciences and cultures by means of granting awards and funding workshops as well as to raise funds for international scientific cooperation, especially for the benefit of Euroscience.

History

Euroscience was created 15 years ago (1997). From the very beginning, Euroscience was to be an association of individuals. These individuals would not just be scientists, but indeed anyone with a vested interest in science, technology or humanities.

Office

The headquarters, based in Strasbourg (France), manage the activities of Euroscience.
