Euroscience recognises excellence by presenting awards, for young scientists, for service to society, science policy, public communication of research, the promotion of peace and international cooperation and development.

Creation of a European platform a Young European Researchers Forum, for early career scientists around issues such as doctoral education, mobility, postdoc schemes or career development.

Promotion of the use of various media to connect science and the public at large: film festivals, competitions for professionals in the world of science and media, etc.

Active organisation of debates on intellectual property rights and the promotion of open access, to balance the interests of individual scientists, their institutions, companies and society at large.
