Euroscience Corporate Members

Who are Euroscience Corporate Members ?

  1. Corporate members are bodies - ranging from associations, national or international organisations, science funding agencies to industrial companies … , who wish to express their support to the goals of Euroscience actively by becoming a member of the association.

  2. Corporate members find in Euroscience association a channel to freely give their views on Science and Technology development at European level, and to come in contact with active scientists (from the public or private sector) on a wide variety of subjects. Euroscience also aims at influencing political leaders on S&T matters, and can thus bring users of science and technology closer to European decision-makers.

  3. The fee per year for Corporate Members is 1500 Euros.
As a young association with ambitions on a large European scale but limited resources, this type of support is an essential complement to individual memberships to help Euroscience developing faster into a European Science platform.

  4. Each Corporate Member is entitled to one mandate in votes organised by Euroscience, for instance at the General Assembly. Each shall be represented by a person delegated for that purpose, and in possession of powers of proxy in writing (described in Art. 5.2c of Euroscience statutes, available on request).

  5. Corporate members have the right to propose up to 20 persons of their personnel to become Individual Members of Euroscience without additional fee. In case of application of Corporate Members from Eastern countries such as the Academies, free admission is raised up to 50 persons in order to support membership of scientists of European countries with economic difficulties.
