The Euroscience Newsletter

There is a little history behind the newsletter put out by Euroscience.

Originally it was a print publication, but manually made available in PDF format too. Beginning in 2008, the newsletter adopted a new name -- The Euroscientist -- and is now only produced in a web-based format, but you can still download in PDF format using a dynamic web-to-PDF generation process. (In each new issue of the newsletter, simply click the "Download newsletter as PDF" link in the newsletter banner.)

In addition to the different name and format changes, there is also a current rights of access comes into play. In other words, some are available to the public, and some are for currently paid members only.

The following list provides the current newsletter resource locations and indicates where only members have access to the resource:

  • Newsletter Orientation (the page you're on now)
  • Euroscience Newsletter Archives* (Members Area only)

* These are the PDF versions of the old newsletters originally made available in print formats. No newsletters under the new name are archived here.

The Science Policy Update

The Euroscience Science Policy Update is published at least two times per year by Renzo Rubele, member of Euroscience Governing Board and Convenor of the Young Scientists work group.

Renzo Rubele lives in Brussels and represents Euroscience at diverse conferences. He is specialised in the Bologna process and the European Research Area. As a former President of Eurodoc (The European Council of Doctoral Candidates and Young Researchers), he has valuable experience of the concerns and difficulties for Young Researchers. To improve the conditions of Young Researchers is one of Euroscience's main aims.
