Dear Colleagues,

we invite you to attend a regular workshop organized by “Euroscience Local Section in Russia”

The workshop will be held at the Small conference hall of the St. Petersburg Scientific Centre of RAS with sponsorship from the Committee for Science and Higher Education, St. Petersburg City Administration.

The main objective of the workshop is to discuss the factors and conditions for attracting young people into science, and to analyze the Russian practice and experience of the EU and the U.S.A.

The following issues will be discussed at the workshop:

  • Professional growth of young scientists in Russia (St. Petersburg) and abroad;
  • Improvement of training of young scientists in the intellectual property rights, research (scientific) ethics, science history, communication skills, public awareness of science, international cooperation;
  • The role of international scientific foundations and public organizations in attracting young scientists and in the global exchange;
  • Participation of young scientists in the innovative research: trends, international cooperation, cases of implementation.

The workshop is supposed to give recommendations for improvement of scientific policy and attraction of young scientists in St. Petersburg and Leningrad region and other regions of Russia.

The papers will be published.
