In combination with this International conference an agreement was signed between Euroscience and the Autonomous Non-commercial Russian Organisation “Science without boundaries” acting as the Central Russian Local Section of Euroscience.

Dmitry I. Trubetskov (Chair); Dmitry V. Mikhel; Igor M. Umansky; Leonid A. Melnikov; Vasily V. Zarodin; Sergey G. Makarevich are the members of the Local Section council. They are already planning events and activities concerning, for ex, immigration and demography, which can be of interest locally as well as on a European level. Another interesting initiative discussed was to create a virtual science museum in Saratov. It would be the first one in Russia.
