Graphene as a chance for a cleaner environmentOne of the biggest challenges of the modern world is the reduction of plastics. Traffic, industry and households each produce hundreds of substances every day that damage and pollute water. Clean water is the need of every human being. Many new materials are being developed to serve mankind.
As young scientists, we are looking for solutions to the modern problems of humanity. We are working on modern composite materials based on graphene – a material with many applications. As engaged citizens, we are trying to make people aware of the need to reduce pollutant emissions.

Misinformation: An age old problem or a global threat to health Earlier this year WHO announced that we were in the grip of an infodemic. Research suggests that misinformation is a growing problem and a global threat to health. Others would argue that it is not a bigger problem, but that it is simply more visible. In this session we hear from three speakers whose work cuts across trust, truth, news, and user-centred design to hear their perspectives, and discuss what the health and research sector should do to step-up to this challenge.
