Sense about Science is holding its second Standing up for Science EU workshop in Warsaw at the University of Warsaw on Friday 10th November 2017 which follows from our highly successful first workshop held in Brussels in June. This free full day event is specifically aimed at early career researchers and scientists (PhD students, post-docs or equivalent) in sciences (including social sciences), engineering and medicine.
Find out how to make your voice heard in public debates about science. Meet scientists who have engaged with the media and policy. Learn from EU policymakers why good evidence is important and how scientists can inform policy. Talk to science journalists about how the media works and what journalists expect from scientists. For more information, please see our Sense about Science website.
These workshops are very popular and so places are limited. To apply, please complete this form. If you are a member of, or are funded by, any of our partner organisations (listed on the webpage), please include this on the application form – our partners hold five priority places for this workshop.
